Changing Clinical Practice Award
Nominations are Open!
This award recognizes a student, fellow, or resident in the Schools of Health Sciences that has demonstrated a clear commitment to healthcare sustainability through advancement of a sustainability initiative in a clinical setting.
To nominate yourself, please submit the following:
- A 1-page description of sustainability initiative, including goals, methods, outcomes and any measurable results (e.g., waste reduction, cost savings, educational reach). Describe your motivation for your work in this space. Highlight research contributions, originality, and impact on advancing sustainability in healthcare. Include photos.
- Supporting Materials (optional): Publications, abstracts, presentations, etc.
To nominate a colleague:
- Nomination letter: Highlight the individuals’ contributions, originality, and impact on advancing sustainability in the clinical setting. Include photos and impact statements.
Due October 5, 2026
Award recipients will receive: An honorarium for $500

Awards will be announced at Planetary Health Day on Friday, October 16, 2026, in Alan Magee Scaife Auditorium.
